Kimberley Benjamin L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.

My first experience with acupuncture and Chinese medicine was in the late 90’s. I was working in a cigarette smoke environment and ended up with a deep chest cold. A roommate at the time insisted I go see “her” doctor. As we were going up the stairs I had no idea my life was about to change forever. Dr. Wang gave me acupuncture, tuina, and Chinese herbs and sent me on way. My cough and phlegm were gone in two days where most of my colleagues were living with symptoms for weeks. I started using Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for my everyday healthcare from that day forward and have never looked back.

My mission is to…

My mission is to educate my patients on how to maintain their health using Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM).  AOM, which includes acupuncture, diet, exercise, herbs, and relaxation techniques can optimize people’s health in ways that can prevents the imbalances that lead to illness. I empower my patients and make sure they know when it’s time to come and see me—or to proactively do something else to facilitate their own health.

Kimberley received a BA in Sociology with a emphasis in Social Work in 1997.  She  has a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University. She received her certification as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Oriental Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in August of 2008 and obtained her Colorado license in January of 2009.  She is an active member of American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and currently sits on the board as the Treasuer for the AAAOM.  She believe in not only helping the individual but also in contributing to the community at large which includes the politics surrounding this medicine. Her hope is that anyone who needs the benefits of AOM has it readily available to them along with insurance coverage.

Before relocating to Fort Collins, she lived in Central New York State. Living at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains has instilled in her a love for nature and the great outdoors.
